Yup, it’s fall.

The fire danger will still remain a concern today, but it thankfully won’t be as windy. Winds will pick up, however, as we get into Friday.

Jet Stream Now

Jet Stream - Mid Next Week

There are big-time changes in store for next week…starting as soon as this weekend. Our jetstream is going to get shook up and we’ll end up in a cooler, more active pattern by mid next week. Recently, and for the past month or so now, we’ve been in a very dry, mild pattern. Observe how the jet stream will plunge southward toward the southeastern US, allowing cooler, Canadian air to filter in.

Still have some fall photos trickling in the email. Go ahead and send us yours! weather@kttc.com or upload them on our Facebook page. There are also some great photos you can find on our iSubmit page – and you can submit yours there, too!
