Warm and Breezy Saturday..and Dry, So Far!

We’re used to blogging so often from such an active weather pattern, but things are remaining quiet around here. Don’t confuse quiet with boring though, as the weather is never boring! We’ll take some quiet and tranquil weather while we have it. We are getting to that point, though, where the grass is turning a little crunchy and sprinklers have been spotted in use (as an FYI, if you are watering your lawn, try not to do it in the afternoon hours. Water in the early morning or evening hours, as the water won’t evaporate as quickly).

We could use a little rain – just a gentle rain, nothing too heavy – to naturally hydrate the ground. We could see a little rain this evening as pop-up showers and thunderstorms are expected. Nothing severe, but a few could contain some gusty winds and perhaps some small hail, much the same as what we saw on our Friday evening. Don’t write off the evening plans outdoors, but keep it in mind. These isolated t-showers could pop up again as we head into the overnight hours.

We may have a better chance at picking up some rain Sunday, but light amounts, and once again, the same can be expected as mentioned above. Otherwise we’ll keep the winds a little breezy, the skies partly sunny, and the humidity in check.

Not too bad for our first weekend of summer, eh?
