June 5th Severe Weather Update: Storm Reports

Although we haven’t seen too many severe weather reports around our immediate area, there were hundreds across the plains and upper midwest Thursday. Among them, and a little bizarre:

2045 UNK 4 N WAKEENEY TREGO KS 3908 9988 SEVERAL POWER POLES WERE BLOWN DOWN. ELEPHANTS WITH A CIRCUS WERE SPOOKED BY THE THUNDERSTORM AND WERE RUNNING LOOSE IN WAKEENEY. (DDC)
