There’s nothing new to write about from the homefront – you can still hear the crickets chirping (….because of our quiet weather, mind you).

The Minnesota State Fair is still going on, through Labor Day; the crisp mornings, earlier sunsets, and a few glimpses of fall leaves got me thinking about finding a delicious apple at the State Fair. I’ll let you know if I find anything on my venture their this weekend.

But in the meantime, as we (caution: bad apple puns ahead) roll?…bite?…fall?…into the upcoming apple season, if you enjoy Honeycrisps, you may enjoy this new variety, as well!
