Our weekend has been pretty decent so far. Temperature-wise, anyway. We’ll get rid of some of those pesky clouds tomorrow…but not for long! A cold front will approach the area Sunday night. Look for those clouds to return, bringing a chance of rain showers…and our friends to the north are sending south their first cold air “gift” of the season. Thanks, guys.
So where were we, and where are we going? Friday’s 80s are long gone…for now. We’re transitioning right now to the 70s, where we will be tomorrow, and then on Monday, the first surge of cooler air will arrive. By Tuesday, we’re only forecasting the lower 60s. And we’re optimistic right now, too.
Another punch of cool air looks to arrive by Wednesday and Thursday.
Now – this is nothing record-breaking or crazy. Normal highs are right around 65°, so we’re merely adjusting our run of above-normal temps to more near-normal, or a little below. But, you know, don’t be caught off-guard come next week, headed to work or school in your flip flops and summer gear. Unless you like that sort of thing..:)
