Friday, June 13th

There have been many severe storms across the area lately, and many pictures have been coming into the weather office.  This is a spectacular picture of a supercell.  I posted it on our blog Thursday, and believe it deserves the honor of being Friday’s featured photo.  Lori gave us permission to use this picture, and it’s so good I think it’s going to make the rounds on the internet.  It’s already been used without credit on the Drudge Report.  Nice picture, Lori!

Friday, May 30th

Sharon Schultz: After mowing the lawn again, I went back out to get this picture of our blossoming Plum Tree. We never get many plums, but we do get pretty blossoms, against a pure blue sky. We have a LOT more trees that will be blossoming in a few more days. They are a bit late this year, but finally arriving.

Regarding this picture, Linda says:
“This picture was taken March 13 2008 in Stewartville,my first Robin sighting of 2008. I did get a picture of 2 Robins in the tree branches on Christmas Day while in Quarry Hill, so not ALL Robins leave for the winter. :)

Email your outdoor and/or weather photos to weather@kttc.com and we may feature your picture on the KTTC Newscenter on Friday evening and post your picture here.
