Oh, my goodness!  Did anyone see that Law & Order:SVU on Tuesday?

Okay, now I started watching Law & Order:SVU in college.  I really like Stabler and Benson as a pair.  I also love Fin and Munch as a pair.  The other people who have come and gone…ho hum ho hum, but wow!  I haven’t watched much since Adam Beach joined the cast as Detective Chester Lake.  But…wow.  There was a cold case Lake was working on.  He ends up finding the guy who committed the crime and everyone thinks he killed him.  So Lake is being held in the hospital and then disappears.

Nobody understands what’s going on.  (The detectives from SVU…don’t have a clue.  Stabler in particular.)  Stabler and Fin get into it and then suddenly Lake has been spotted.  He’s in an abandoned warehouse with a hostage.  What it turns out happened is that Lake had been helping a Philidelphia group with a cold case.  The cold case is the first case Lake ever worked on as a detective, so he’s personally invested.  He found the guy (who’s actually a NY cop now) and then killed him.  It turns out though that he killed him in self defense (if I’m remembering correctly…)  He got shot in the process though.  Lake ran because he needed to find the girl…and this is who his hostage is. 

So now the detectives find out that the case was that two girls were picked up by two cops.  Both girls were raped.  One was killed.  Lake finds the other girl.  So as Lake’s talking to Ice-T Benson and Stabler find out who the two cops were.  One was the one Lake killed.  The other one…he’s a sniper with the NYPD and now has a gun trained on Lake.  It was sweet justice when Stabler held his gun to the bad cops head.

But that’s not all!  So it goes to court and the stinking jury lets the bad cop go!  The last scene in the show is Fin, Munch, Stabler, and Benson seeing cops leading Lake in handcuffs into a cop car outside the court house.  Lake killed the bad cop…and now Lake’s off the show, but what a way to go!
