I’m straight up going to say it - I don’t cook. My sister, Wendy, wears that hat in our family…and is she ever good at it! I used to swing by for dinner as often as I could manage an invite – and on occassion, I would invite myself!…really, she’s that good!
But, that could very well be the reason why the Wolfram Sisters have struggled with their weight all their lives. That, and our inherited sweet tooth from our Father – Thanks Mayor Bob! Oh, and maybe the weekly trips to McDonalds as a “night out” when we were children, followed by a peppermint chip ice cream on a sugar cone at Birdsalls. Or, it could be that Mom loved making homemade french fries on weekends after daring us to run through the cemetary after dark – yes, that’s what we did for fun in the small town of Ventura, Iowa. Of course the Viking Drive Inn STILL has the best black raspberry marshmellow malts!
Oh, I can manage in a kitchen. I do have A LOT of cookbooks afterall - but that does not a good cook make! As part of my NEW YEAR,…the NEW ME is going to dust off those cookbooks and crack them open to give a few recipes a try. I’m starting with a few healthy ones from my Medifast cookbook! After you try these, you’ll see why I love this plan so much!
Let’s start with Breakfast! What better way to start the day than with an Omelet!
How about some lunch!
And finally, Dinner!
BON APPETIT!
